Marina overview

Westbay Marine Village is a residential and visitor marina at 453 Head Street in Victoria, on the west side of the Inner Harbour. It is a marina community rather than a purely transient stopover. Much of the moorage belongs to long-term residents and floating homes.

For visiting boaters, Westbay offers a calm, sheltered basin tucked away from the main harbour channel. It also offers a short walk into the Vic West neighbourhood and a scenic route around the Westsong Walkway toward downtown Victoria.

Location and boating area

Westbay sits on the western shore of Victoria Harbour, opposite the Inner Harbour causeway. Harbour ferries connect Vic West with downtown near the West Bay approach. The marina is also a short water-taxi ride from the Empress and the Legislature.

As with any part of Victoria Harbour, this area is shared with float planes, commercial traffic, harbour ferries, and other recreational boats.
