Marina overview
Causeway Marina sits at the foot of the Causeway in Victoria's Inner Harbour. It sits directly beneath the Fairmont Empress and right across from the British Columbia Parliament Buildings. The Greater Victoria Harbour Authority (GVHA) operates the marina as part of its Inner Harbour marina network.
Causeway is one of the most central moorages in the region. Visiting boaters often reach it first after clearing the Ogden Point breakwater and entering the harbour. The docks are steps from the Empress lawn, the BC Legislature grounds, and the shops along Government Street. That makes it a popular stop for boaters who want to spend an afternoon or evening in downtown Victoria without a shuttle or taxi.

The Inner Harbour is a busy working waterfront. It is shared with float planes, harbour ferries, whale-watching vessels, water taxis, and commercial traffic. Speed and wake restrictions apply throughout the harbour. Traffic is coordinated with the Victoria Harbour Airport water aerodrome.
