Exhibitor Information
VictoriaBoatShow.com provides visibility for verified boating, fishing, marine-service, and outdoor businesses serving Victoria, Vancouver Island, and British Columbia.
Event Overview
VictoriaBoatShow.com works with verified marine, fishing, and boating-related businesses to publish listings that help visitors plan time on the water in Victoria, Sidney, Sooke, Oak Bay, Cowichan Bay, and the Southern Gulf Islands. Where a physical event is involved, exhibitor participation is coordinated between the event organizer and each business.
Exhibitor Eligibility
Eligible business categories include boat dealers, marinas, fishing charters, marine mechanics, boat-storage facilities, marine electronics providers, tackle shops, boat brokers, insurance providers, transport companies, boating educators, tourism organizations, and official event organizers. Exhibitors should be able to demonstrate a legitimate connection to boating, fishing, or the marine visitor economy in British Columbia.
Application Process
Businesses apply through the exhibitor application form. Each submission is reviewed for accuracy, category fit, and available space. Approved applicants will receive confirmed setup instructions, access times, and applicable display requirements before the event.
Booth Planning and Setup
Booth planning covers layout, product display, signage, and any customer-facing elements such as demo areas or literature. Setup and move-in details — including venue access windows, load-in points, and vehicle procedures — are communicated to approved exhibitors ahead of the event. Exact booth dimensions, load ratings, and layout constraints are provided by the organizer at that stage.
Display Safety, Electrical, Insurance and Permits
Displays should be safe for public attendance and comply with any applicable venue, fire, and municipal requirements. Exhibitors requiring electrical service, water access, or unusual installations should note this on the application. Where insurance certificates or municipal permits are required for a category (for example, food-related or amplified-audio displays), the organizer will confirm the specific documentation needed.
Marketing Materials and Event Conduct
Exhibitors are encouraged to bring current brochures, business cards, website QR codes, and photography that represent products or services accurately. Sales and promotional activities should remain within the booked space and respect neighbouring exhibitors and the flow of public attendance. Any misleading claims about products, warranties, or event affiliations may result in the listing being reviewed.
Move-Out, Contact and Support
Move-out instructions, including timing and access routes, are shared with approved exhibitors before the event. For general questions about listings, corrections, or the application process, use the contact page. To review who is currently featured, see the exhibitors page.
